A general contract for Russian-designed power units No. 3 and No. 4 construction with VVER-1200 reactors at Xudapu nuclear power plant was signed on June 5 in Moscow in presence of heads of Russia and China. The official signing ceremony took place during President of China Xi Jinping state visit to Russia.

Year-to-date, the goods and services deficit increased $4.1 billion, or 2.0 percent, from the same period in 2018. Exports increased $8.3 billion or 1.0 percent. Imports increased $12.4 billion or 1.2 percent.

The meeting participants reviewed issues related to cooperation between the companies. Particular attention was paid to joint actions for hydrocarbon production in Russia, namely at the Urengoyskoye and Yuzhno-Russkoye fields.

It was pointed out that the French demand for Russian natural gas has been on the rise for the last four years.
